报告题目: Superconductivity Near Hc2

摘要： While precise definition of Hc2 is currently unavailable in the literature it is commonly perceived as the applied field value at which the superconductivity order parameter appears in the bulk of the sample. For larger values of the applied magnetic field it is well known that the order parameter is concentrated near the boundary. The existence of such a field has been conjectured by Physicists more than 40 years ago, but so far only a few mathematical results exist in the literature. In this talk I’ll review these results (some of them are my own) and relate them to the well known work of Abrikosov, for which he won the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2003.
