摘要：
The study of algebraic cycles reveals different aspects of a variety -- arithmetic, algebraic and geometric, and connects several beautiful subjects in algebraic geometry. The goal of these lectures is to explain some open problems, as well as some techniques in the study of cycles on rationally connected varieties. The lectures will start with some basic examples to motivate the results/questions, and finish with some of my recent work/conjectures.

主讲人简介：
　　田志宇教授于2007年获得清华大学学士学位，2011年获得美国石溪大学博士学位，博士指导教师为Jason Starr教授。田志宇教授现任职于北京国际数学研究中心，主要研究方向为代数几何。
