Matrix limit theorems of reciprocal Lie-Trotter type

报告人简介:Fumio Hiai教授在von Neumann代数,算子理论和矩阵分析领域做出了重要贡献。他在Springer出版社和美国数学会出版社出版过专著。Mathematical Reviews 显示:他的论著被引用了 1938 次。

报告内容简介:We discuss limit theorems for Phi(A^p)^{1/p} and (A^p sigma B)^{1/p} as p goes to infinity for positive matrices A,B, where Phi is a positive linear map between matrix algebras (in particular, Phi(A)=KAK^*) and sigma is an operator mean (in particular, the weighted geometric mean), which are considered as certain reciprocal Lie-Trotter formulas and also a generalization of Kato's limit to the supremum A vee B with respect to the spectral order.
