摘要: In this talk, I will discuss a recent joint work with Laura DeMarco and Holly Krieger, about the uniform bound for the number of common torsion points of elliptic curves. More precisely, we study the number of common x-coordinators of the torsion points for two elliptic curves in the Legendre family. The techniques we used are inspired from dynamics.

报告人简介：叶和溪教授的主要研究方向为复动力系统和算术动力系统。他2007本科毕业于中国科学技术大学，2013年博士毕业于美国伊利诺伊大学芝加哥分校(University of Illinois at Chicago)，导师为Laura DeMarco教授。博士毕业之后，他分别在在香港大学，加拿大多伦多大学(University of Toronto)，以及英属哥伦比亚大学(University of British Columbia)从事学术研究，2016年至今担任浙江大学教授。
