报告题目：

摘要： We shall re-exam the Kronecker double sums from a historical perspective dating back to Eisenstein's work of elliptic functions and Kronecker's generalization of the Eisenstein series. We will show that the twisting of the Kronecker double sums by the Dirichlet characters leads naturally to all the Eisenstein series associated with the modular groups; and in conjunction with the genus theory of Gauss on the quadratic forms, we are able to characterize a subspace of Eisenstein series associated with the the genus fields of the quadratic fields.
