报告内容简介:The Allee effect is a phenomenon that the population of a species gets extinct if the density becomes smaller than a critical value. There are population models that include the Allee effect. However, most of population models, if not all of them, allow an extinction only in time asymptotically, but not in a finite time. In this talk we will discuss about the issues to obtain finite time extinction and its consequences in the context of logistic equations and prey-predator models.
