报告人简介：北京师范大学数学科学学院长江学者特聘教授、博士生导师 。2006年获德国洪堡Bessel研究奖。在联邦德国Bielefeld大学获博士学位，导师是国际著名 代数表示论专家Claus Michael Ringel教授；之后，在Bielefeld大学数学系参加 德国研究联合会(DFG)重点项目《代数表示论》的研究工作。回国后，在北京师范大学数学博 士后流动站做博士后。代数与表示论曾在德国、英国、比利时、匈牙利、挪威、日本、澳大利 亚、墨西哥、加拿大、波兰、西班牙、意大利、印度、美国、香港、巴基斯坦等国家和地区的 一些大学和研究所学术访问或合作科研。

报告摘要：In this talk，I shall report a joint work with Koenig on affine cellul ar algebras. First, we introduce the notion of affine cellular algebras and then discuss the representation theory of affine cellular algebras and extend the framework of cellular algebras by Graham and Lehrer to algebras that nee d not be finite dimensional over a field. Finally, we apply our developments to affine Hecke algebras of type A and show that an affine Hecke algebra of type A over a field of characteristic zero has finite global dimension if the Poincare polynomial do es not vanish at the defining quantum parameter .
