讲座内容简介：

In this talk we introduce three one parameter semigroups of operators and determine their spectra. Two of them are fractional integrals associated with the Askey-Wilson operator. We also study these families as families of positive linear approximation operators. Applications include connection relations and bilinear formulas for the Askey-Wilson polynomials, and solving certain dual integral equations.

主讲人简介：

RUIMING ZHANG (张瑞明)，美国数学博士，加拿大计算机软件资深开发员／设计师，现任桂林电子科技大学数学与计算科学学院教授。硕士和博士均师从于ISI高引用科学家、美国数学学会会士、英国皇家物理学会会士、世界著名特殊函数论专家Mourad E.H.Ismail教授。

主要数学研究领域为正交多项式、特殊函数和渐近分析。截至目前，张瑞明教授先后完成了三项国家自然科学基金面上项目。已在国际学术刊物Advances in Mathematics, International Mathematics Research Notices, Transactions of American Mathematical Society等杂志发表研究论文42篇，其中JCR一区14篇，所得结果受到了美国科学院院士Richard Askey教授等本领域国际同行专家们的高度评价。
