摘要： This talk is an introduction to the boundary conformal field theory (BCFT). We start with Segal's definition and its generalization, followed by a briefly discussion of 2-dimensional topological field theories. Then we discuss various ingredients of the genus-zero BCFTs, such as open-string vertex operator algebras, full field algebras, open-closed conformal field algebras and Cardy condition, and their categorical formulations. If time permits, the constructions of these algebras will also be discussed.
