报告内容介绍：
In this talk, I will discuss our study on a class of coupled PDEs with transparent boundary conditions that arises in a variety of cutting-edge applications including inverse boundary problems, spectral geometry of invisibility, and super-resolution imaging. I will report several peculiar local and global pattern formations of these PDEs. Several novel applications will also be discussed.

主讲人介绍：
刘宏宇，香港城市大学数学系讲座教授，国家高层次人次计划入选者，国际反问题协会卡尔德隆奖得主，科睿唯安全球高被引科学家，全球前2%顶尖科学家，英国物理学会会士、数学及应用学会会士。主要从事数值仿真与科学计算、数学物理反问题、超材料的数学理论、散射理论和谱理论，以及生物数学和博弈论等方面研究。现担任Communications on Analysis and Computation创刊主编及多个国际期刊的编委，在Journal of the European Mathematical Society，Communications in Mathematical Physics，Arch. Ration. Mech. Anal.等国际著名数学期刊发表论文 200 余篇，出版专著4部。
