The asymptotics of scalar phase transition models in the limit of vanishing interface width have been widely studied over the past decades. We will talk about some analogous results on phase transition models with high dimensional energy wells such as the matrix-valued Allen-Cahn equation and the isotropic-nematic interface problem in the Q-tensor framework.

*主讲人简介：

王伟，浙江大学数学科学学院研究员、博士生导师。主要从事偏微分方程的理论研究，在流体力学方程的适定性、自由边值问题、液晶模型一致性的数学理论方面取得了一系列重要的研究成果，已在Invent. Math.、CPAM、Acta Numer、ARMA、JFA、SIAM等学术期刊上发表论文20余篇。入选教育部高层次青年人才。
