*讲座内容简介：
In this talk, we first explain the idea of defining an analytic index of a Dirac operator in R/Z K-theory. Then, by proving the corresponding Riemann-Roch-Grothendieck theorem, we explain how to put complex flat vector bundles in the framework of K-theory, and obtain the real part of the Riemann-Roch-Grothendieck theorem for complex flat vector bundles as a consequence.

Ho Man Ho，博士毕业于美国波士顿大学，前任香港浸会大学数学系讲师，主要研究方向为指标定理及微分上同调。
