Symposium Theme

The theme of the symposium is “Reform and Development of Contemporary Mathematics Education: Issues and Challenges”. It welcomes contributions in various areas concerning mathematics education, including workshops and the following topic study groups (TSGs):

• TSG2: ICT and mathematics education
• TSG3: Mathematics curriculum and textbooks
• TSG4: Mathematics classroom teaching, learning and assessment
• TSG5: Comparative and international studies in mathematics education
• TSG6: Equity in mathematics education
• TSG7: Other research areas related to mathematics education
