Abstract:
This talk aims to survey some aspects of KK- and cyclic homology theories¡¯interactions via bivariant Chern characters, notably in index theory and related applications.

Dr. Rudy Rodsphon received his Ph.D. from Universit¨¦ Lyon 1 and is currently an associate professor at Sichuan University, a role he assumed in 2024. His previous positions include assistant professorships at Washington University in St. Louis (2021-2024), Northeastern University (2018-2021), and Vanderbilt University (2015-2018). Dr. Rodsphon has contributed significant research to his field, with publications in prestigious journals such as the Journal of Functional Analysis and Advances in Mathematics.
