Isomorphism conjectures in topological dynamics

Abstract:

We will look at ample groupoids as models of topological dynamical systems. We will discuss Matui's HK conjecture, which connects groupoid homology to operator K-theory for such systems. After some examples and calculations, we will focus on the connection with the celebrated Baum-Connes conjecture, by means of projective resolutions and spectral sequences.
