Controlled K-theory for twisted Roe algebras

Abstract:

I will discuss how to use controlled K-theory, which was developed in detail by Herve Oyono-Oyono and Guoliang Yu, as a main tool to compute K-theory of the twisted Roe algebras at infinity of a space, and its applications to the coarse Novikov conjecture.
