Twisted bounded-dilation group C*-algebras as C*-metric algebras

Abstract:
In this talk, I will introduce a new class of C-metric algebras (compact quantum metric spaces), which is arised from discrete groups with the property of bounded-dilation. I will also give the relation between the compact quantum metric space structures on twisted bounded-dilation group C*-algebras and the cohomology class of 2-cocycles.
