Abstract:
In this minicourse, we will brie
y recall some basic facts for algebraic
topology and K-theory and then discuss Thom isomorphisms and related
conclusions for
(1) cohomology of real vector bundles and complex vector bundles,
(2) K-theory for complex vector bundles,
(3) K-theory for crossed product of C-algebras.
