On a class of operators in the hyperfinite type II1 factor

Abstract:

In this talk I will introduce a class of operators in the hyperfinite type II1 factor. I will talk about the spectrum, Brown spectrum, invariant subspace of the class operators and also von Neumann algebras and $C^*$-algebras generated by the class of operators.
