Abstract:

Sarason's Toeplitz product problem asks when the product $T_fT_{\bar g}$ of two Toeplitz operators is bounded on various Hilbert spaces of analytic functions, where $f$ and $g$ are both analytic. The problem is very difficult for both the Hardy space and the Bergman space and it is still an open problem even for the unit disk. In recent joint work with Bommier, Cho, Park, and Youssfi, we have found a complete solution to the problem for several classes of Fock spaces.
