A survey on non-commutative sigma model

Abstract:

In this talk, we review non-commutative sigma models based on several target spaces. Usually, considering string theory the source space is fixed as a non-commutative torus and its spectral triple. We are going to introduce a set-up for the theory and review some examples under the unified approach. The most material is borrowed from Mathai and Rosenberg's 2009 paper.
