On Absorbing Extensions --Some "Purely Infinite" Properties

Abstract:

Absorbing extensions are important in classifying extensions of C*-algebras. The BDF-theory classifies the absorbing extensions when the ideal is K. To study absorbing extensions, it depends on the "purely infinite" property of the corona algebra of the ideal. In this talk, we will introduce some "purely infinite" properties due to Elliott, Kucerovsky and Lin.
