Abstract:

I will talk about the recent advancement in the construction of the 4 dimensional Grosse-Wulkenhaar model, which is a quantum field theory model defined on the 4 dimensional non-commutative Moyal space $R^4_\theta. This model is exactly solvable and the 2 point and 4 point correlation functions are proved to satisfy the Osterwalder-Schrader axioms, in the infinite volume limit, due to the recent breakthrough of Grosse and Wulkenhaar. Hence it is possible to fully construct this model in 4 dimensional Minkowski space-time. I will also talk about the limit of their method and the construction of this model with multi-scale loop vertex expansions.
