Title: Stable equivalences of Morita type and Hochschild (co)homology

Abstact: This talk gives a survey of my research work. The first part contains my work on stable equivalences of Morita type and the Auslander -Reiten conjecture. We give some equivalent conditions of this conjecture in terms of Hochschild homology and cyclic homology. In the second part I explain an effective method to construct comparison morphisms between two projective resolutions of a module and I will indicate some applications to the computation of the Gerstenhaber Lie bracket over the Hochschild cohomology of an algebra. In the third part, I will describe my research plan in the future years
