Tao Huang(NYU Shanghai)
Thursday, January 4th, 2018, 2:30 PM  Room 264, Geography Building, 3663 Zhongshan Road North, Shanghai
Below is a Math PDE seminar scheduled on January 4 , sponsored by NYU-ECNU Institute of Mathematical Sciences at NYU Shanghai. All are welcome and light refreshments will be served!

In this talk, we will discuss how to find the ground state solutions of semilinear time-harmonic Maxwell equations in a bounded domain by the Nehari manifold method. The talk is mainly based on the work of Thomas Bartsch JarosLaw Mederski (ARMA 215, 2015, 283-306).

Tao Huang is Visiting Assistant Professor of Mathematics at NYU Shanghai. Prior to joining NYU Shanghai, he was Research Associate at Penn State University, University Park. He holds a Ph.D. from University of Kentucky. His research interests are Partial Differential Equations and Fluid Mechanics. His work has appeared in Manuscripta Mathematica, Journal of Differential Equations, Archive for Rational Mechanics and Analysis, Communications in Partial Differential Equations, Calculus of Variations and Partial Differential Equations, and SIAM Journal on Mathematical Analysis.
